She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Yarnevich and Edna Yarnevich; her siblings, Francine Yarnevich and Peter Yarnevich; and her in-laws, John Dowd, Edward Modes, Edward Dowd (Angela), William Dowd, Mary "Tiny" Lay (Bill), Madora "Toby" McNulty (Gene), William Modes and James Modes.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Modes; her family Janice; her children, Bob (Joan), Ann (Karen), Mike (Meg) and John (Roberta); her grandchildren, Michael, Robert (Abbey), Grace, Daniel (Briana), Natalie Proctor (Mark), Jane McGrail (James), John, Sophia, Molly and Amelia; her great grandchildren, McKenna, Zoey, Lincoln, Madeline, Graham and Emerson; her siblings, Carol Delbeke (Bob) and Robert Yarnevich; her sister-in-law Marilyn Yarnevich; Carol (Bob Delbeke). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred Wood Funeral Home (36100 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edith Catholic Church (15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at the TBD Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
