It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Giffin of Livonia, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacqueline Giffin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Swartout and Mary Swartout (O'Brien); her husband Ronald; and her siblings, James, Lucille, Vince, Tom and Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Humphries (Tim), Michele Vunck (Ken), Colleen Giffin and Shannon Strzalkowski (Mark); her grandchildren, Joe (Deneava), Tommy (Amber), Stephanie (Alex), Kelly (Kevin), Stephen and Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Alice Ivy, Rhea, Ren and Jett.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Turowski Life Story Funeral Homes (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A rosary was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve - St. Maurice Catholic Church (29015 Jamison St, Livonia, MI 48154). A Mass was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
