He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Schurig and Geraldine Schurig; his siblings, Ted, Betty, Chuck, Mary Jane, Pat and Michael; his parents-in-law, David and Jean Hatley; and his in-laws, Dave, Brenda and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Debra Ramsey (Marc); his grandchildren, Marissa and Josh Ramsey; his siblings, Geri, Richard, Ken, Bob, Marilyn and Jeanette; and his siblings-in-law, Molly, Mike and Dave. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
