Kathleen Griffin Obituary
Kathleen M. Griffin, a resident of Livonia, passed from this life on April 8, 2023, at the age of 79.
Kathleen was the beloved wife of Arthur Cheney for 36 years. She was the loving mother of Pamela (Todd) Browning and David (Laura) Griffin Jr. Kathleen was the cherished grandmother of David III, Kaylee, Noah, Emma, John David, and Kyle. She was the dear sister of Augustus "Gus" (Beverly) Pasko, Jr. and the late Patricia (the late Nelson) Tabenske. Kathleen was the proud aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen attended grade school at Transfiguration in Detroit and High school at Felician Academy. Kathy enjoyed going with Art to Eagle Rock, their home away from home, on the Rifle River. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bridge with life long friends.
Kathleen will lie instate at Transfiguration/John Paul II Parish, 5830 Simon Street, Detroit, on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Laurel Manor, 39000 Schoolcraft Road, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
