With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mardon Volney Murphy of Livonia, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Leslie Murphy and Margaret Hope Murphy (Bell); and his sister Olive Mae MacCauley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Murphy; his daughters, Katherine Potter (Donald) and Karen Barsy (Richard); his grandchildren, Dawn (Chris), Steven (Lindsay), Donald, Evan (Brittany), Rachel (Dylan), Beatrice and Cameron; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Dallas, Sean, Corbin, Christopher, Liam, McKayla, Benjamin, Wyatt, Jack, Katherine, Turner and Finley. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manns Family Funeral Home (17000 Middlebelt Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). Viewing was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Presbyterian Church (27475 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
