He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Messner and Gladys Messner; and his stepbrother Robert Schmidt (Blanche). He is survived by: his wife Diana Clark Messner; and his sister-in-law Helen Clark of Alma. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ward Church (40000 Six Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48168). The military honors will be held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
