He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Yanowski (Jean); and his siblings, JoAnn Alm and Sandy Carter. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eric, Angela Heather, Adeline, Delaney and Kole Salvador; his brother-in-law Donald Eliott; his nieces and nephews, Michele Ward, David Alm, Shawna and Jay Carter; and his cousins, Glen, Linda Diane, Pat and Larry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nativity of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church or to Optimal Care Hospice in memory of Melvin.
