He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Michael Thomas Dunn and Cierra Elaine Dunn; his siblings, Richard Dunn (Robin), Thomas Dunn (Trisha), James Dunn (Jodi), Cheryl Ann Dunn and Joseph Dunn (Sheila); his father Addison Dunn; Tina Zatsick and Vern Nelson.

However it took several more years before Mike was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's.
