He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Cecil. He is survived by: his father Ross Cecil; his wife Janice; his daughters, Lindsay Hoyt (Christopher) and Ashley Van Tiem (Kevin); his grandchildren, Mack, Eve, Margo, Beck and Randy; his siblings, Kim Dawkins (Rick) and Doug Cecil (Jen); and his sisters-in-law, Karen McGowan (late Steve), Shirley Czarnecki (John) and Shelley Perttunen (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless dear friends.
