He was predeceased by: his daughter Eileen M. Michael (Thomas); and his siblings, Eddie (late Pat), Francis, Molly (late Joe), Jim (late Pat), Tommy, Kay (late Bob) and Wayne Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Shannon McCarthy (Rob), John McCarthy and Erin Cherry (Todd); his granddaughter Caitlin Quinn; his sisters, Nancy, Loretta Whalen (late Pat) and Patsy Horan (late Jerry); and his sister-in-law Sue McCarthy (late Chuck). He is also survived by one of 12 kids.
