He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Egerer and Jean Schneider-Gatley; his wife Sharon Egerer; and his granddaughter Stefanie Muns. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Muns (Michael) and Christopher Egerer (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Heather Huber (David), Emily Muns, Matthew Egerer and Kayla Egerer; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Lucille and Logan; and his sisters, Denise Gately and Cheryl McGowan (late Donald). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turowski Life Story Funeral Homes (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Genevieve - St. Maurice Catholic Church (29015 Jamison St, Livonia, MI 48154).
