He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cummings and Mary Cummings (Schmitt). He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Christopher (Buzzie); and his children, Barbara Pankowski (Edward) of Northville, Kathleen Raus (Norwin) of Manchester, Gail Magdowski (Darrin) of Livonia and Frank Christopher (Madison) of Walled Lake. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

“So sorry to hear about Bob’s unexpected accident. He was a big personality and could light up a room. We were honored guests at his and Millie’s mansion home on Cambridge Dr. several years ago. It was a devine Wine & Lobster Event that Don Vargo cooked at. We too are fellow “wine connoisseurs” and had the pleasure of touring Bob’s fantastic wine cellar, especially built to exhibit and hold his enormous collection of worldly wines. It was an exemplary summer party, thanks for the experience.”

“I only met Bob once or twice, even though we were distant relatives. I do remember his distinct generosity, however, when I was 10 years old. He knew I was a big Wings fan and gave me four tickets to my first game of theirs. I'll never forget that time. I'll definitely pray my rosary for him.”
