He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his parents, Robert Meredith and Edith Meredith; and his siblings, Ann, Janet and John.

He is survived by: his children, Marion Labute (Paul), Robert (Vickie), Mark (Susan), Keith, Gail and Aaron (Jill); his grandchildren, Taryn, Derek, Caiti, Amanda (Takashi), Dan, Ian (Mackenzie), Sean (Colleen), Aaron (Shannon), Mathew, Sidney and Scarlett; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Emerson, Eli, Ellis, Luca and Aria. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
