Robert Hilary Nowicki Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the Robert (Bob) Nowicki passed away on March 19 in Livonia , MI , at the age of 93. He was moved from Cincinnati where he lived at Little Sisters to Livonia MI, to be closer to his nieces for care. Born on September 8, 1931 in Toledo , Ohio, he was the son of Harry and Rose Nowicki. Bob lived in Loveland for many years, and was an illustrated and award winning Artist.
Bob was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served his country with honor. Following his military service, he dedicated his profesional life of 45 years to Interior Design, and illustrated and award winning painting.
He was the beloved husband of the late Bernice Nowicki. Together, they made their home in Cincinnati, OH, where they ran their Interior Decorator Business: Robert H. Nowicki Interiors.
He was a devoted friend to Nancy Kammer and her sons Cody and Casey.
He was the brother of the late Nancy Tripp, and uncle to Angela Swolsky, and great uncle to her sons Oscar and Julius.
He is also remembered by his nieces Pat Byrne and son Roger Byrne, and Janice Werth and her son Nicholas and daughter Karen Eickhoff (Eric),
and great nephews and nieces. He also had many close friends.
Bob's life was marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his country. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
Mass will be at St. Gertrude's Church on August 29 at 9:30 a.m., with reception afterwards.
