She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Timmer and Mildred Timmer (Gatchell); her spouse Octaviano J. "Tony" LaFuente, Jr.; and her sister Sharon Jean Fields. She is survived by: her children, Domingo Nieto (Tina Joy) and Christina LaFuente; her grandchildren, Lorin, Savannah, Nicholas and Schyler; and her great grandchildren, Natalia, Oakley, Raelynn, Wyatt, Carter, Keenan, Harper, Leighton and Aubrie.
