With sadness, we share the passing of Yolanda Kay Broadnax in Livonia, Michigan. Yolanda, born on July 21, 1969, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Otis E. Broadnax; her grandparents, Cora Horton, Jeanette Broadnax and Clarence Broadnax; and her cousin Joann Bass.
She is survived by: her daughter Lin'Niqua Yarbro; her grandchildren, Ka'Yonni Yarbro and Kah'Lil Murray-Yarbro; her mother Linda Horton; her sister Sharda Alexander; her nieces, Ja'Nylah Fleminger and Kadence Clark; her cousin Tenley Lawrence; and her close friend Melva Johnson (Anthony Grandberry). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prospect Missionary Baptist Church (351 Prospect St, Pontiac, MI 48341).
