He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack E. Berner Sr. and Donna Berner (Lake); his wife Patricia Joan Berner (Pietrzyk); and his brother-in-law Rod Leversee. He is survived by: his sons, Jack E. Berner III (Jennifer) and Matthew J. Berner (Sarah); his sisters, Susan Leversee, Jill Rynd and Julie Mattison (Gary); and his grandchildren, Maxwell Berner, Sophie Berner, Olivia Berner and Luke Berner.
