It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James LaPine of Loretto, Michigan, born in Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon LaPine and Minnie LaPine (Sanford); and his brothers, Tim and Bud LaPine. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Peterson; his children, Jimmy LaPine (Jenny), Tim LaPine (Dani Varda) and Lisa Kraemer (Doug); his grandchildren, Larry LaPine (Katie), Ashley Mack (Jeremy), Laura Burklund (Billy), Nikisha Zanon (Matt) and Timothy LaPine; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Aubree LaPine, Scarlett, Lillian and Vera Mack; and his siblings, Jerry, Darren LaPine and Diane Compo. He is also survived by cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
