We announce the death of Bonnie VanSpronsen of Lowell, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2026. Bonnie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Koster and Marsha Koster; her parents-in-law, John and Francis VanSpronsen; and her brother-in-law Robert Mulder.
She is survived by: her husband Karl Kenneth VanSpronsen; her sons, Ken VanSpronsen (Hillary), Josh VanSpronsen (Erin) and Chris VanSpronsen (Cheyenne); her grandchildren, Hannah, Mackenzie, Lily, Hunter, Colt, Wesson, Brooklynn, Sonny, Andrew and Amelia; her siblings, Dan Koster (Alice), Mike Koster (Roxanne), Fred Koster, Kathy Danevicz (John), Vicki Chiarmonte (Joe) and Jodi Piechocki (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Cliff VanSpronsen (Jackie), Neal VanSpronsen (Carol), Johnny VanSpronsen (Harriet) and Nancy Mulder-Vos (Gary Vos). She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home (305 N Hudson St SE, Lowell, MI 49331).
