He was predeceased by: his siblings, David, Gene, Ray and Barbara; and his brother-in-law Donny Parmeter.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon VanAmburgh; his son Tim VanAmburgh (Jen); his grandsons, Bailey VanAmburgh (Racheal) and Brayden VanAmburgh; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Alma (Bob), Sue Cross (John), Cindy Staeven (Jim) and Julie Smith (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
