She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Phillip DePetro and Clarice Elizabeth DePetro (Glanville); her husbands, David Phillip Emmette and Charles Peltola; her sister Kay LeDuc; her brothers-in-law, Dick Rogers, Jerry DeMarse and Phil White; and her nephews, Glenn White and Rich Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles "Chuck" Emmette of Seattle and David "Dave" Emmette of Lowell; her grandchildren, Thomas, Philip Emmette and Josephine "Josie" Emmette; her siblings, Barb White of Marquette, Mary DeMarse of Marquette, Patricia Benson (Dan) of Marquette and John DePetro (Joyce) of Marquette; and her brother-in-law Gordy LeDuc. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (401 W Kaye Ave, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane's memory to St. Michael Catholic Church, Baruch Senior Ministries or the Alzheimer's Association.
