She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cornell-Copp and Florence Cornell-Copp; her husband Ralph D. Carlson; her son Jon; and her siblings, Arlene Shea and Neil Copp.

She is survived by: her sons, James of Norcross, GA, Jerome (Colette) of St. Cloud, MN, Jeffrey (Donna) of Belmont, MI and Dr. Jay Carlson (Robin) of Springfield, MO; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Carlson of North Tonawanda, NY; and her sister Joann Haugerud of Seattle, WA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 step granddaughters.
