She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Carey and Pauline Carey (Christoff); her stepfather Robert Eskes; her in-laws, Charles and Shirley Hoffman; her brother Ron Carey; her sisters-in-law, Verla Carey and Sue Wester; her great-nephew Andrew Benedict; and her friend Dan Huver.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Hoffman; her children, Jeff Hoffman (Heather) and Jody Yaw (Sean); her grandchildren, Mallery Yaw (Seth), Hayden Struckmeyer (Drew), Maysen Yaw (Brady), Gavin Hoffman, Lexi, McKenna Yaw, Payton Hoffman (Cam) and McKoye Yaw; her great grandchildren, Rhett and Brooks Struckmeyer; her sister Gay Nauta (Vern); her brother-in-law Doug Wester; her friend Charlene Kooistra; her nieces and nephews, Ronda, James, Shela, Matt, Aaron, Heather, Andy and Jim; and her friend Ann Huver.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ada Bible Church (8899 Cascade Rd SE, Ada, MI 49301).
