She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman VanderLaan and Martha VanderLaan; her brothers, James VanderLaan and Harold VanderLaan; and her sister-in-law Carolyn VanderLaan.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth VanderLaan-Vos (Marv); and her sister-in-law Judy VanderLaan. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Julia's memory may be given to Boston Square Church and Interim Hospice.
