It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rick Haan of Lowell, Michigan, who passed away on July 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Rick Haan to show support.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his parents, Dan Haan and Beverly Haan; his parents-in-law, Martin and Ida Bolt; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Bolt, Dick Bolt, Don Bolt, Dar Bolt, Cheryl Bolt and Barb Doezema.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Held (David) and Heidi Smith (Tom); his grandchildren, Daniel, Grayson, Michael, Isabelle and John; his brothers, Doug Haan (Sally) and Ken Haan (Lori); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Bolt (Sandy), Tom Bolt, Jack Bolt (Lynne), Carl Bolt (Margie), Andy Doezema and Jacque Bolt; and also, Peter, Ashley Vandenberg, Charlotte, Madelynn, Lillian and William. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cascade Fellowship (6655 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
