He was predeceased by: his parents, Nestor Harju and Irene Harju; his siblings, Earl Junttonen, Calvin Junttonen, Violet Kuusisto and Lois Rintala; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Smith, Wester Rintala and Maryann Junttonen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Harju; his children, Derek Harju (Dulce) and Brittany Quint (Tony); his sisters, Laurian Osantowski (Ron) and Neldine Smith; his grandchildren, Maxima, Malia Harju and Nicholas Quint; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Elizabeth Charter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
