Alan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alan will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Nichols and John Nichols; and his brother John Nichols (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Nichols; his daughters, Kathryn Nichols (Katie) and Emily Nichols (Kevin Bos); his grandsons, Oscar Nichols and Harrison Bos; and his sister Nancy Boyd.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bellwether Harbor Animal Shelter in Fremont, Michigan.
