It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Louise Astling of Ludington, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Barbara Louise's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Barbara Louise has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Golder and Lena Golder (Bartz); and her stepson Thomas Astling. She is survived by: her son Greg McCallum; and her stepchildren, Arlene Hart, Robert Astling, Terry Astling and Joseph Astling. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
