He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Barnes and Diane Barnes (Wagner); and his siblings, Francine and Samuel. He is survived by: his girlfriend Robyn Schumacher; his daughter Elle Thompson; his siblings, Mary Jo Veenstra (Jon), Michael McClure (Jayne), Patricia Engle, Glenn McClure (Cindy) and Jack Barnes; and his pet Roscoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
