He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Springer and Ethel Springer (Archer); his son Thomas Springer; and his siblings, Barb, Margaret and Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ann McFeaters; and his children, Donald Springer Jr. (Debi) of Angola, John Springer of Redford, Jim Springer (Laura) of Dearborn Heights and Sue D'Arcangelo (Steve) of Ludington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
