He was predeceased by : his parents, Mathew Kokx and Cecilia Kokx (Greiner); his son Joseph Kokx; his brother Hubert Kokx; and his parents-in-law, Ernest and Margaret Morisson.

He is survived by : his wife Pauline M. Morisson of Muskegon; his children, Eugene II Kokx (Teresa), Pamela Welch (Steve) and Rhonda Greiner (Scott); his grandchildren, Trisha Marsh (Josh), Danielle Oomen (Justin), Courtney Van Loo (Nick), Ryan Grondsma (Abby), Kevin Grondsma (Holly), Remi Brackett (Clayton), Carin Greiner, Larissa Vanderputte (Nick) and Macayla Greiner; his brother Ronald Kokx (Lillian); and his sister-in-law Frances Russell (Al). He is also survived by Ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
