He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Tacktor and Ella Tacktor Sr. (Brankert); his wife Barbara Ann Tacktor (Smith); his siblings, Wilma Olsen (Kenneth), Wallace Tacktor, Shirley Herbert (Charles), Rodney Tacktor (Lillian) and Donna Masse (Rodney); and his grandson Adam Tacktor.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Tacktor (Diane), Terri Marroquin (Hector) and JoLynn Varenhorst (Bill); and his friend Mary Margaret Scanlon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
