With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Henry Casteel of Ludington, Michigan, born in Durand, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay Casteel and Virginia Casteel (Cline); and his sons, Carey and Craig. He is survived by : his wife Kristine (Krupinski); his daughter Jill Blanchett (Michael); his stepchildren, Angela Brink (Dale) and John Husted; and his grandchildren, Reid Blanchett, Deric Blanchett, Carrie Casteel, Will Jones, Tyler Savage (Lexi), John Husted and Jacob Husted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mason County PAWS Humane Society, 3349 Johnson Road, Ludington, Michigan, 49431.
