He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Armstrong and Mary Armstrong (Hupp); and his brother Bill Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Christine Christensen; his daughter Tamara Hartman (James); his grandsons, John Hartman (Allison), Jacob Hartman and Jeremiah Hartman; his great grandchildren, Alaric, Charles and Joanna; his stepchildren, Sam Hamilton (Janelle) and Anna Hamilton; his stepgrandsons, Frank Hamilton and Linden Bing-Hamilton; his sister-in-law Sue Ellen Armstrong; his friend Paul Patterson; and his pet Duncan.
