She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Borton (Briggs) and Joe Borton; her stepmother Mildred; her siblings, Rosie and Clarence; and her son Jamie.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Lucas (Scott) of Luther and Larry Jr. Thorp (Christine) of Hersey. She is also survived by Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Luther Lions Club (1003 State St, Luther, MI 49656).
