It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hess of Luther, Michigan, born in Pipestone, Minnesota, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Hess and LaVerle Hess; and his nephew Jeffrey Dahl. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jamie (Laura), Chad and Molly (Tommy); his grandchildren, Ava, Cydney, Rune, Nolen and Clayton; his sister Judy (Larry Dahl); his nephew Michael Dahl (Monica); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie and Jacob.
