He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Verellen and Gladys Verellen (Paulios); and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia Bjornstad (Howard) of Romeo, Michael of Troy, Jane Keller of Big Rapids, Mary Bristol (Dan) of Washington Twp, Mark of Livonia, Daniel (Jen) of Richmond, Patricia Hlavity of Center Line, Jeffrey (Laurie) of Livonia, Marcia Bowers (Terry) of Birmingham, Mitchell of Macomb and Richard of Bellaire; and his sister-in-law Linda.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muir Funeral Home (296 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church (343 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065).
