He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Wolcott Ladson; his parents, Russell Ladson and Lavina Ladson; and his siblings, Richard and Lee Ortman.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Steven (Robin), Cynthia (Jeff), Nicole and Amy (Felix); his stepson Michael Hughey; his sister Shirley Labrenz; his grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan (Sherry), Brandon (Jess), Darin, Caiden, Emelia, Alina and Sara; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jacob, Wyatt, Wesley, Willow and Wiley.
