He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestine Nicholas and Mary Sophia Young (Lefever); his spouse Onalee Thelma Schmidt; his daughter Bonnie Randa (late David); and his siblings, Mildred Binge, Marvin Young and Virginia Grzadzinski.

He is survived by: his sons, Charles Young (Shirley) and Jeffery Young (Kathryn); and his grandchildren, Robert Randa (Patty), Angie Randa, Jeanine Lukowski (Pete), Nicholas Young (Alicia), Melissa Berardi (Eric), Alexander Young (Shauna), Daniel Brejnak and Noah Brejnak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens.
