He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Malcolm Sewell and Nina Sewell; his wife Theresa Aquilina; his children, Nathan, Jamie Sturgeon (Ross), Baby Girl Sturgeon, Tara and Anthony; his sisters, Janet Hamilton, Carol Newsted, Denise Sewell-Boreczky (Eric) and Renee Sewell-Smith; his niece Erica Boreczky; and his nephew Garrett Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris's memory can be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
