He was predeceased by: his mother Velma Patterson; his grandmother Elizabeth Durance; his siblings, Joan Hantke and Albert Patterson; his niece Kimberly Turner; and his nephew Bernard Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Helen); his sister-in-law Mary Ann Brown (Ronald); his nieces, Cheryl Weber (Ron Oldham), Sandra Weber, Cynthia Nance and Catherine Sorel (Louis); his brothers, Eric and Karl Hantke; his close friend Greg; and also, Kevin and Sue.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in David's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
