He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carpenter and Shirley Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Bettcher (Michael) and Dennis Carpenter II; his grandchildren, Brandon Bettcher (Taylor), Diana Wooldridge (Matt), Alyssa Schwark (Brendan) and Julia Carpenter; his great grandchild Raegan Bettcher; his sister Susan Welchko (John); his nephews, Shaun Welchko (Kelly), Ryan Welchko and Conner Welchko; his niece Katelyn; and his former wife Joan Carpenter.
