It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Frank Carpenter Sr. (Macomb, Michigan), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carpenter and Shirley Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Bettcher (Michael) and Dennis Carpenter II; his grandchildren, Brandon Bettcher (Taylor), Diana Wooldridge (Matt), Alyssa Schwark (Brendan) and Julia Carpenter; his great grandchild Raegan Bettcher; his sister Susan Welchko (John); his sibling's children, Shaun Welchko (Kelly), Ryan Welchko, Katelyn and Conner Welchko; and his former wife Joan Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church - Macomb (17051 24 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Peter Lutheran Seminar Fund or The St. Peter Lutheran Building Together Campaign.
