He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Sylver and Edna Sylver (O'Conner). He is survived by: his wife Mary Rogghe; his former wife Delphine Bates; his children, Michael Sylver (Pam), Brian Sylver (late Jennifer) and Jenniffer Saputo (Pete); his stepchildren, Russell Martek (Jaclyn) and Michael Martek (Aimee); his grandchildren, Cesare, Nina, Izabela, Giuliana, Vincenzo, Everett, Isabell, Eliette and Abigail; and his siblings, Arthur, Linda, Robert, Joseph, Kim, Cindy and Wendy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind or Macomb County Animal Control.
