Eldon August Kukuk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon August Kukuk (Macomb, Michigan), who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, August Kukuk and Gertrude Kukuk (Schramm); his wife Donna J. Hintz; his brothers, Larry Kukuk (Judy) and Roger Kukuk; and his brother-in-law Milton Kraatz.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly McCoy and Roxanne Thatcher; his grandchildren, Merissa Baez (Daniel), Brittany Melendez (Alex) and Colten Thatcher; his great grandchildren, Kyler Baez, Benette Melendez, Jensen Baez, Thea Melendez and Estelle Melendez; his sister Joyce Kraatz; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Whipple (Kenneth) and Lucy Glefke (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial tributes would be appreciated to St. Peter Lutheran Church or Leader Dogs for the Blind in lieu of flowers.
