She was predeceased by : her parents, John Ellis and Cordia Meadows; her husband Ansel Rayford Strunk; and her siblings, Margaret Brozowski, Jack Gene Meadows and Patricia Parker.

She is survived by : her children, Russell Alan Strunk (Alice), Elizabeth Ann Longoria (Harold), Cindy Lee McFadden (John) and Gary Ray Strunk (Brenda). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
