She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Matecki and Stella Matecki; her siblings, Bruno Matecki, Henry Matecki and Jenny Nieznajko; her grandson James Andromalos; and her close friend Donald Figurski.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick Bzdziuch (Fred); her children, Tressy Anderson (Robert) and James Bzdziuch; her sibling's children, Marlene Riker (William), Sandra Shoup (James) and Thomas Matecki; and her sister-in-law Cecylia Matecki.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee-Ellena Funeral Home (46530 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Queen of Creation Catholic Church (50931 Maria St, New Baltimore, MI 48047). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (36105 24 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, MI 48047).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Mary Queen of Creation Food Pantry or the Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST) in her honor.
