He is survived by: his children, James Rory and Nicole Simon (Douglas); his parents, James Simon and Marian Simon (May); his brothers, Kevin Simon (Carol) and John Simon (Laura); his grandsons, Blake and Nathan; and his siblings' children, Michael, Olivia and Megan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel (35259 23 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, MI 48047). The lying in state will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. An expression of sympathy may be made to The American Cancer Society.
