Marilyn Jane Mertes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Jane Mertes of Macomb, Michigan, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Jenkinson and Mary Jenkinson; her sister Julie; her significant other Michael Mertes; her children, Rebecca Verkest (Steve) and Aaron Mertes (Maria); and her grandchildren, Cyrus Henry Verkest, Shane Michael Verkest and Jamieson Robert Verkest.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
