He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Ozimek; his children, Terri Catoni (John), Laurie Johnson and Amanda Johnson; his sister Marilyn Mohr; his grandchildren, Kelsey (Zeb), Chloe (Rylan), Dominick, Matthew and Michael; his brother-in-law Joe (late Patricia); his parents, N. Howard and Mary; and his siblings, Donald and Patricia. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee-Ellena Funeral Home (46530 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044). The lying in state was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
