He is survived by: his spouse Speranza Bennett; his son Alan Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Leo, Carmella DiVito, Emma DiVito, Vince DiVito (Chris) and Adelina Coscione (Frank).

The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
